Cardiff Golf Club's new clubhouse was completed at a cost of about £1.1m and was officially opened by Mr. John Roger Jones, President of the Welsh Golfing Union, on the 7th March 1999. Located on the ground floor are the changing rooms, the Secretary's Office and a Spikes Bar. Also on the ground floor is the superbly fitted Professional's Shop, run by club professional Terry Hanson who maintains a very large range of golfing equipment, clothes and accessories.
